Don’s Auto and Truck Center, Tomah, WI., has signed on as sponsor for the CWRA Cedar Creek Rustic Village, as presented by Bentley Trucking, Stars to Legends Tour, final race of the season, Sunday, October 11th, 2020, as part of the Oktoberfest Racing Weekend, at La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway, West Salem, WI. CWRA, which is appearing at Oktoberfest for the first time in over 25 years is an event Don’s Auto and Truck Center, proprietor, Don Fowler, is looking forward to. “We have been a backer of CWRA and are proud to put our name on this race as title sponsor. We will continue to back the group in the 2021 season as well!” John J. Mayer Insurance has also indicated they will provide financial backing for the race, adding money to the purse pay-out. According to CWRA president, Dale P. Danielski, this will be a great way to conclude the 2020 racing season. “All things considered, it has been a good year for the CWRA Stars to Legends Tour. We are extremely thankful for the sponsorship we have and continue to receive and look to carry it into the 2021 campaign. Getting the chance to end the season by again being a part of the huge, Oktoberfest racing Weekend, will provide added momentum for CWRA going into next season.” CWRA will be racing in a 25 lap Feature on Sunday of ‘Fest, with the 2020 Champion being determined. John Beale currently holds a 10 point margin over defending Champion, Jeff Weinfurter heading into the finale.
